Business Connect Luncheon: July 2025
On Tuesday, July 8, Sheriff Dwight Baird and Undersheriff Bobby Richardson welcomed attendees for a guided tour of the Kendall County Jail facilities. During the tour, led by Commander Nancy Velez, Deputy Commander Van Thompson, and Sergeant Cassie Taylor, participants learned about the daily routines of inmates, ongoing facility renovations, and available programs such as work release, GED classes, and culinary training. The tour also highlighted substance abuse recovery services. Following the tour, attendees enjoyed a delicious boxed lunch provided by Panera Bread.
