The Chamber welcomed guest speaker Janeen Norquist from Just In Time Heating, A/C, Plumbing & Remodeling on a beautiful sunny day. Guests networked, mingled, and enjoyed a delicious lunch.

Janeen’s topic was “Creating Your New Reality” and she inspired the crowd with her personal story of growth.

After taking a hard look at why the business was not working to its full potential, Janeen focused on what she could change, her own attitude towards her job. She wanted to be truly happy with her career. Janeen then asked the attendees to complete a thought-provoking exercise, that she had used previously, to restructure her reality.

Janeen explained how she had to have a clear vision with actions to match, actions that closely aligned with her values. She created a vision that excited herself, her family and her team at Just In Time. Shortly after, good people with similar values and goals started showing up.

One day, Janeen received a call that gave her the huge confidence boost she needed to further her growth, and become an industry leader. The call came from another company in her industry asking for advice. This call was referred to her by a mentor that she highly respected.

Janeen’s closing advice was to always be curious, listen to truly understand, believe in yourself and experience joy in your journey.
