The Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce was proud to join fellow chamber partners, local officials, business leaders, and community members on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, for a special Multi-Chamber, Multi-Business Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating the continued growth and relocation of Gateville Law Firm and Wela Financial.

The event marked an exciting milestone for business owners Sean Robertson of Gateville Law Firm and Eric Essex of Wela Financial, who recently relocated their offices to 520 E. Kendall Drive, Unit C, Yorkville, IL. Surrounded by supporters, clients, fellow professionals, and community advocates, both businesses were recognized for their commitment to serving the region and investing in Yorkville's continued economic growth.

The celebration welcomed distinguished guests including Illinois State Senator Sue Rezin and Yorkville Mayor John Purcell, who joined in congratulating both businesses on their success and their growing impact within the community.

Dozens of Chamber Ambassadors, Chamber members, local business representatives, and community supporters gathered for the occasion, highlighting the strong collaborative spirit that makes Yorkville and the surrounding area such a vibrant place to live, work, and do business.
