Yorkville Community Businesses Welcome New Teachers

When the Yorkville School District hires new teachers each year, many of them are new not only to the school district but to our community as well. To welcome and introduce them to area businesses and services, the Yorkville Chamber invited the newly hired teachers to its 14^th Annual New Teacher Welcome Breakfast, held August 15^th at Whitetail Ridge Golf Club.

Community businesses showed appreciation towards the school district with over $2,000 in cash prizes and a surplus of raffle baskets and gift cards. In addition, each teacher left with a swag bag filled with goodies provided by supporting businesses.
