Ready to bowl and dressed for the spotlight, 16 teams joined the Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce for the 3rd Annual SociaBowl. Over 90 members of the community spent their Wednesday night bowling alongside their fellow businesspeople. The bowling alley resembled Hollywood with all the movie-themed costumes worn by both teams and spectators. The networking night consisted of multiple games of bowling, best dressed teams, a 50/50 raffle, unbelievable food, and lots of smiles.
COUNTRY Financial - Chris Heitz’s team, You're Killing Me Smalls, took home the trophies for Highest Team Score for both games 1 and 2. Their team member, Rob Janosek, was awarded the Highest Individual Score for game 1. Emily Grimes of Stephen Alan Salon, aka The Pink Ladies, won the trophy for the Highest Individual Score for game 2. The team representing YACC Leads Ignite, Backdraft, came dressed to the nines and crowd applause won them the honors for Best Dressed Team.
From granny style bowling to disco dancing, under cosmic bowling lights, our Funky Frames game 2 challenge was a blast! Not only did it give the bowlers a new challenge in each frame, but the laughter was contagious.
This star-filled night was a total success! Our SociaBowl committee, chamber members and sponsors put in such hard work to make this an amazing night. Thank you to everyone who participated and a special thank you to Jason Davis of Suzy’s Bar & Grill, for once again being our awesome emcee for the night! We would also like to give a huge thank you to Pinz Entertainment Center for graciously hosting and providing gift certificates to the winners.
