WaterLink: Groundbreaking Marks Investment in Region’s Future
Local officials and community leaders recently gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking of a major infrastructure project that will bring Lake Michigan water to Oswego, Yorkville, and Montgomery. This long-term investment supports sustainable growth and a reliable water supply for the region.

Representatives from the United City of Yorkville in attendance included City Administrator Bart Olson, Assistant Director of Economic Development Katelyn Gregory, and Mayor John Purcell. The Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce was also represented by President/CEO Renee Kryger and Membership Assistant Kelly Waynauskas.

The project reflects strong regional collaboration and a shared commitment to supporting residents, businesses, and continued economic development across Kendall County.

Special shout out to Little Loaf Bakehouse for providing sweets and pastries for the event!
