Fall Symposium – Do You Know Where You Live?

Description

Learn about the history of Plano, Edith Farnsworth House, and the surrounding area through an engaging and informative panel discussion. This event will be at the Plano Public Library (15 W North Street, Plano, IL) 10am-12pm.

The talk will be followed by an optional afternoon walk on the grounds of the former Maramech Village, 2pm-4pm. The optional guided walk hosted by Jeff Bilek, will inform participants about the property, its history, and Jeff’s experience at the site, including a personal view of historic buildings. 

Participants are responsible for all transportation and space is limited. This program is presented in partnership with the Plano Public Library and Plano Historical Society.
