Please join Edith Farnsworth House for a special paddle down the Fox River and tour of the art exhibition "Water Into Wood: The Art of Truman Lowe." Truman Lowe is a Ho-Chunk artist who took inspiration from nature, especially canoeing rivers. This tour will highlight connections between the river landscapes we’ll experience and the artwork on view in the house and in the gallery.

Tonia Lowe, Truman Lowe’s daughter, will be your tour guide on this day. She is a water sports enthusiast, and holds an MA in Art History from UC Boulder. When she was young she was often recruited to help peel willow for her dad’s installation sculptures, and has spent countless hours canoeing with her dad.
