The Awards are presented annually to honor those who have gone above and beyond to make a difference in the Yorkville CUSD 115 community.  Each nominee should exhibit behaviors of an everyday hero that inspires staff, students, and others within the district community.  

The three nomination categories are:

Spirit of the Fox Award 

     Eligible candidates: Parents, alumni, teachers, or community members. 

     Ideal Nominee Traits: This candidate embodies the fox spirit through their enthusiasm and passion for the district community of Yorkville CUSD 115.  Their dedication and commitment can be shown through participation, support in education, extracurricular activities, or community events. 

Initiative of the Year 

     Eligible candidates: District employees and district partners. Examples include: Extended Learning Opportunities, Extracurricular Groups, Library Squad, YISO Club, Sensory Support Library, etc.

     Ideal Nominee Traits: This candidate approaches an initiative or project with innovation and produces positive results during the 2025-26 year.

Partner of the Year

     Eligible candidates: Volunteer organizations, business. Example: Boosters, District committee/councils, businesses participating in Extended Learning Opportunities, and Parent-Teacher Organization

     Ideal Nominee Traits: This candidate has gone above and beyond in their District 115 Partnership.  They have shown commitment to the Yorkville education community and fulfill a need within our community.
