On January 31, 2025 at the Business over Coffee meeting, Modern Woodmen will be honoring 3 community residents with the Hometown Hero Award. The three people, are crossing guards for School District 115 and are hometown hero's because they put themselves out in busy traffic in all sorts of weather conditions to keep our kids safe around the school campus's.
