On Friday September 5th, The Yorkville Home Depot and over 20 volunteers with Fox Valley United Way, descended on the Plano Community Garden to help assist with a beautification project. Some of the work included clearing out weeds around the front shed, laying down weed blocker, laying down gravel, laying brick and gravel around the rear shed, weeding through the butterfly garden, spreading cyprus mulch around butterfly weigh station and front sign, removing and then reinstalling fenced in storage area.
