At the Foot & Ankle Centers, surgery isn't all we do. We will recommend conservative care for you when it is available and appropriate for your condition. If the need for surgery of your foot and ankle arises, you can rest assured with our doctors who are all board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Our doctors treat medical and surgical conditions of the foot and ankle, from common foot and ankle problems to complex surgical corrections. We treat newborns to geriatric patients with the finest care. The Q-CLEAR laser provides safe light energy to painlessly irradiate fungus and kill it without any damage to the surrounding nail or skin. A visit for consultation and treatment will take about 30 minutes. Our medical pedicures are considered cosmetic in nature and not covered by insurance, payment is affordable, due at time of service and available (regardless of your age or insurance) to all patients by making an appointment with our nail technician. Our services are performed in a safe, clean and sterile setting. All items are disposable or sterilized, using the same technique we use for surgical procedures. Even our nail polish will not be used from one patient to the next. Our doctors live in the community where they work. Dr. Paul Bishop is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and was residency trained in foot and ankle surgery in Houston, Texas, and has been in practice since 1996. His special interests include: foot and ankle reconstruction, wound care, join replacement and adult sports injuries. He is a lecturer on complex diabetic infections and diabetic wound limb salvage. Dr. Thomas Rappette is also Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and was residency trained in Houston, Texas. He too has been in practice since 1996. Dr. Rappette has extensive training in pediatric and adult flatfoot surgery, sports medicine, diabetic limb salvage and wound care. His special interests are in pediatric flatfoot reconstruction, advanced treatment of heel pain (shockwave treatment ESWT), sports medicine and adult foot and ankle pathology.
