Thank You for Making Biz Boo! 2026 a Spooktacular Success!

What a boo-tiful day for one of Yorkville's favorite fall traditions! On Saturday, October 17, families from across the area filled the streets of Yorkville for the 2026 Biz Boo! Community Trick-or-Treat Event, enjoying a day packed with treats, costumes, community spirit, and local business fun. More than 100 participating businesses and organizations opened their doors to welcome thousands of smiling ghosts, goblins, superheroes, princesses, and other creative characters throughout the community.

This year's event was made even more special thanks to beautiful fall weather, creating the perfect backdrop for families to explore the community, visit local businesses, and celebrate the Halloween season together.

The Return of Touch-A-Truck

One of the biggest highlights of the day was the highly anticipated return of the Touch-A-Truck Event at the NCG Yorkville Cinemas parking lot. After weather prevented the event from taking place in 2025, families were excited to once again climb aboard, explore, and interact with a variety of impressive vehicles up close. The Touch-A-Truck experience provided hands-on fun for children of all ages and quickly became a favorite stop along the Biz Boo route.

Community-Wide Halloween Fun

Throughout Yorkville, participating businesses transformed their locations into festive Halloween destinations. Families enjoyed candy giveaways, games, photo opportunities, costume-themed activities, special promotions, decorated storefronts, and plenty of community interaction along the way. The event once again showcased the creativity and enthusiasm of the local business community while creating lasting memories for area families.

More importantly, Biz Boo continues to fulfill one of the Chamber's key goals: connecting residents with local businesses. Events like this encourage families to discover new shops, organizations, restaurants, and services while supporting the businesses that help our communities thrive.

Thank You to Our Participants, Sponsors & Volunteers

The Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce extends its sincere appreciation to the more than 100 participating businesses, organizations, sponsors, and volunteers who helped bring this event to life. Their commitment to creating a safe, welcoming, and fun experience continues to make Biz Boo one of the area's most anticipated annual traditions. A special thanks to the following Great Pumpkin Sponsors, along with our Advertising Partners, for helping to continue to make Biz Boo! a free and enjoyable community event:

We would also like to thank the Yorkville Police Department, community partners, and event volunteers for helping ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Looking Ahead

Each year, Biz Boo demonstrates the incredible strength of our business community and the value of coming together to create meaningful experiences for local families. Thank you to everyone who participated, visited businesses, wore a costume, handed out candy, sponsored the event, or helped spread Halloween cheer throughout the community.

We hope you had a fantastic time and look forward to seeing everyone again for an even bigger and better Biz Boo! 2027! 🎃👻🍬
